Brooklyn in Love & at War

My grandparents' World War 2 Love Letters

Confessions of a Late-Adopter

When I started this blog in <gasp> 2010 (yes, 15 years ago), the internet was a simpler place. Instagram didn’t exist. TikTok was just a clock sound. Facebook was still figuring out how to upload photos.

Some things haven’t changed:

  • 500+ letters still whispering their secrets
  • Me, still obsessively transcribing them
  • This blog, still home base for their stories

But after 15 years, even I’ve admitted: Technology evolves. So here’s what’s new:

✨ Follow @BKinloveandwar on TikTok & Instagram for:

  • Awkward-but-earnest letter readings (I’m learning, it’s scary!)
  • My reactions to and analysis of the letters
  • Videos and photos you can’t find on the blog

✨ Bookmark the new (simpler!) URLBKinloveandwar.com

The blog isn’t going anywhere—but now you can join me in the trenches of WWII romance across platforms. Because these letters were meant to be read (on the blog) and heard (on TikTok)!

Thanks for sticking with me all this time, through slow posts and tech whiplash.
